If I download kits and use some samples to produce my own beats, is that considered plagiarism even though I mixed it my way?

I think there would be no use of downloading kits if we can't use the samples.

Thanks Guy's!

Good luck with your music...

no, the only way it is plagerism, is if they have the sound file copyrighted, and you dont have rights to use it. unless you illegaly download a sound pack, then that would be plagerising. more than likely id say your good regaurdless, and if your mixing your self noone would more than likely notice anyways. -cant spell. i know

i agree with ryanchristmas. i have never heard about anyone being sued or anything about a drumsample. I mean, how are they gonna prove that it's their sample you have used? it's almost impossible unless it's really rare samples or something extraordinary

Im honestly tryin my best to answer your question but I've never done that before.I've learned from a movie about windshield wipers...Its not plagiarism If you make it your own and change one lil thing...its definitely yours for the keeping....Cuz if thats the case what im typin right now is plagiarism.Every Single one of these words are someone elses but i made them mine.Hope that Helped a little sorry...
